Error
The search request was unable to connect to the Search Service.
Solution
1. Central Administration 2. Application Management 3. Manage Web Applications 4. Select the Web Application 5. Ribbon: Service Connections 6. Search Application must be checked
If you don’t se any Search Application, do the following
1. Central Administration 2. Application Management 3. Manage Service Applications 4. New -> Search Service Application 5. Now you can see it in Service Connections
