Error Microsoft SharePoint is not supported in 32-bit process

Additional information: Microsoft SharePoint is not supported in 32-bit process. Please verify that you are running in a 64-bit executable.

Explicación

Se trata de un proyecto que se esta ejecutando en modo 32 bits y la librería de SharePoint no está soportada, debe ser en 64 bits.

Solución

1. Abrimos el menú contextual del proyecto (Botón derecho en el proyecto)
2. Vamos a la opción Propiedades.
3. En el apartado “Build” debemos asegurarnos de tener:
   1. Platform target: Any CPU
   2. DESMARCAR el CheckBox de “Prefer 32-bits”
